El Al Complaint: Controller at Charles de Gaulle Sent Message About Palestine

The Israeli airline El Al has complained that an air traffic controller at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris broadcast the message 'Free Palestine' via radio to pilots of its flight, immediately after takeoff.

El Al described the incident as 'unprofessional and inappropriate,' stressing that it constitutes a deviation from established communication procedures and could create a risk during the critical takeoff phase.

The company is in contact with the Israeli Civil Aviation Authority, while the Israeli Authority has contacted the French civil aviation authorities to investigate the matter.

'El Al will continue to fly around the world with the Israeli flag proudly on the tail wing, while ensuring the professionalism and safety of passengers and crew,' the company said.
