Kursk: Chinese Journalist Injured in Ukrainian Drone Strike

A Chinese journalist from Phoenix TV was injured in a Ukrainian drone strike in Russia's Kursk region, near the border with Ukraine. Russian authorities have called on the United Nations to respond to the incident.
Lu Yuguang, 63, was injured in the village of Korenevo. Acting Governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, reported that the journalist sustained cuts to his head and refused hospitalization.
Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, denounced the attack as an attempt to silence the media. The Russian Defense Ministry reported destroying 39 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory and Crimea.
Additionally, traffic on the Don River in the Kalachevsky district of Volgograd was temporarily restricted due to a Ukrainian drone attack. Volgograd Governor Andrei Bocharov stated that there were no casualties from the attack.
