Kremlin: Awaiting US Briefing on Ukraine Peace Plan

The Kremlin announced that Russia is preparing to receive a briefing from the United States regarding their talks with European powers and Ukraine on a potential peace settlement. According to Politico, American and Russian officials are expected to meet in Miami, with Kirill Dmitriev participating in the Russian delegation.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that contacts with the US are planned to get information on the results of the Americans' talks with Europeans and Ukraine. The US has held talks with Russia, Kyiv, and European leaders to end the war, without reaching an agreement.
Vladimir Putin stated that Russia will seize more territory in Ukraine if Kyiv and European politicians do not commit to the American proposals. European leaders insist they stand by Kyiv, warning that if Russia wins in Ukraine, it will attack a NATO member. Russia controls 19.2% of Ukraine, including Crimea and much of Donbas.
