According to former CIA agent John Kiriakou, U.S. President Donald Trump is planning to launch an attack on Iran "on Monday or Tuesday." Kiriakou cites a source from the White House.

Kiriakou claimed that "a decision has been made" in the White House for an attack early next week, after Trump gave Iran a ten-day deadline to accept U.S. terms.

Kiriakou's source allegedly claimed that Vice President J.D. Vance and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard oppose the war, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth support it.

Tehran appears to be prepared for the American president's plans, as Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has given instructions on how to act if he is assassinated.

Khamenei has reportedly established multiple levels of succession for key military and political positions.
