US Sanctions International Criminal Court Judges

The United States has imposed sanctions on two judges and two prosecutors of the International Criminal Court (ICC) for their involvement in cases linked to Israel and the US.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced sanctions against Kimberly Prost (Canada), Nicolas Guillou (France), Nazhat Shameem Khan (Fiji), and Mame Mandiaye Niang (Senegal), accusing them of "directly participating" in investigations and prosecutions of US and Israeli citizens without the consent of those countries.
The US considers the ICC a "threat to national security" and claims it is being used as a "legal warfare tool" against the US and Israel. They are also concerned about proceedings targeting American soldiers in Afghanistan and arrest warrants against Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant.
The sanctions include a ban on entry to the US and asset freezes.
