Aeroflot Cyberattack: Silent Crow Hacker Group Claims Responsibility

Russian airline Aeroflot was forced to cancel over 50 round-trip flights due to a cyberattack, causing disruption to air travel. The pro-Ukrainian hacker group Silent Crow has claimed responsibility for the attack, in collaboration with Belarus Cyberpartisans.
The Kremlin expressed concern, and Russian authorities have launched a criminal investigation. Aeroflot has not announced a timeline for resolving the issues. The company's shares declined.
Silent Crow claims to have infiltrated Aeroflot's network for a year, destroying 7,000 servers and gaining control of personal computers, threatening to publish passenger data and intercepted conversations.
Aeroflot canceled 54 round-trip flights but planned to operate the remaining 206 of the 260 scheduled flights. Despite sanctions, Aeroflot remains among the top airlines worldwide.
