Lithuania Ready to Send Troops and Equipment to Ukraine

Lithuania is ready to contribute troops and equipment to any peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, according to a statement by President Gitanas Nausėda.

Nausėda stated in a television interview on TV3 that his country is ready to provide as many troops as parliament allows for a peacekeeping mission, as well as military equipment.

Western countries are considering sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine if a peace agreement is reached between Moscow and Kyiv.
