Macrons Hire Detective Over Brigitte Macron Transgender Claim

Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron hired investigators to gather information about American influencer Candace Owens, who spread the claim that Brigitte Macron was born a man.

The investigation, conducted by the American company Nardello & Co, revealed Owens' connections to figures of the French far-right and popularity in Russian state media. Interactions with Russian nationalist Alexander Dugin were also identified.

The Macrons have filed a lawsuit against Owens for 'absurd, defamatory and outrageous fantasies' in a podcast series that garnered millions of listeners. The lawsuit was filed in Delaware, and the Macrons are willing to attend the trial in person.

The investigation also highlighted Owens' shift from liberal to supporter of Donald Trump, as well as her relationships with Nigel Farage and Tucker Carlson.
