Massive Ukrainian Attack on Belgorod with Missiles and Drones

Ukrainian armed forces launched a massive attack with missiles and drones on the Russian region of Belgorod on Saturday. According to local authorities, the attacks caused damage to energy infrastructure and residential buildings.

Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that this is the most intense wave of attacks the region's capital has experienced since the start of the war. In a post on Telegram, Gladkov noted that "energy infrastructure has been destroyed" and a building was engulfed in flames.

Debris from a downed drone caused a fire in a residential yard, and damage was reported to two houses in the Tavrovo community. The Belgorod region borders Ukraine and has frequently been targeted by Ukrainian attacks since February 2022.
