Medvedev: 'If the U.S. Takes Greenland, Europe Will Hand It Over'

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev sarcastically commented on the possibility of the U.S. taking over Greenland in a recent post.

Referring to Emmanuel Macron's statement about the incalculable consequences if sovereignty is violated in Greenland, Medvedev wrote: 'They’ll just shit their pants and give up Greenland. And that’d would be a great European precedent.'

Medvedev described the potential inaction of Europeans as 'a great European precedent'.
