Medvedev: Russia to retaliate against asset seizures

Russia has warned European countries that it will take action against any country attempting to seize Russian assets.

The warning follows reports that the European Union is considering using frozen Russian assets, worth billions of dollars, to support Ukraine.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated that Russia would act against European countries in every possible way, in all international and national courts, as well as extrajudicially.
