Mitsotakis in Spain: Meeting with Sánchez and King Felipe

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will visit Madrid on Monday to meet with his Spanish counterpart, Pedro Sánchez, and King Felipe.

This is the first bilateral visit of a Greek Prime Minister to Spain in 13 years, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of economy and trade.

Discussions are expected to focus on international, regional, and European issues, with emphasis on developments in Ukraine and the Middle East. Greece and Spain face common challenges such as migration and the climate crisis.

Issues related to the EU budget, the need to support Cohesion Policy and the Common Agricultural Policy, as well as joint European investments will also be discussed.
