Local authorities report new Russian airstrikes against Kyiv. The Mayor of Kyiv stated that Ukrainian air defenses are attempting to repel the attacks and urged residents to remain in shelters.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military announced it struck a chemical plant in Russia's Bryansk region using Franco-British designed missiles. Reuters notes it could not independently verify the information. The Russian Defense Ministry reported 57 Ukrainian drones were destroyed.
