Netanyahu: Israel Expanding Buffer Zone in Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that his country is expanding ground operations in Lebanon, aiming to create a wider buffer zone within Lebanese territory. The Israeli air force has intensified its bombings, mainly in Beirut and southern cities.
Netanyahu emphasized the need to remove the threat of Hezbollah's missiles and reiterated that the dismantling of the organization remains a central goal. Simultaneously, the Israeli Defense Minister expressed the intention to occupy territory representing almost one-tenth of Lebanon.
Reports indicate that over a thousand people have been killed and more than one million have been displaced in Lebanon.
