New York Times: Netanyahu Intervened to Postpone US Attack on Iran

According to the New York Times, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally intervened with then-US President Donald Trump, requesting the postponement of a potential American military strike on Iran.
The report, citing an anonymous senior US official, states that the communication between the two leaders occurred via telephone on Wednesday.
On the same day, Trump claimed to have received information that Iran had ceased executing dissidents, a move seen as a de-escalation by the American side.
Concurrently, Arab countries such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Egypt reportedly asked the Trump administration not to attack Iran, warning of the risk of a broader regional conflict.
Furthermore, the same Arab countries allegedly called on Iranian officials not to attack countries in the region in the event of a US attack.
