Cuba willing to maintain dialogue with the US, says Díaz-Canel

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel stated that Cuba is willing to maintain dialogue with the US based on equality and respect for international law. The statement follows Donald Trump's remarks regarding the supply of oil and money from Venezuela to Cuba.

Díaz-Canel mentioned that no talks are being held with the US government, except for contacts on technical issues in the field of immigration.

The Cuban president emphasized that Cuba is always willing to maintain dialogue with the US on the basis of sovereign equality, mutual respect, and the principles of international law.
