According to the New York Times, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the IDF to conduct massive strikes on Iran in the next 48 hours. This move comes as the U.S. is diplomatically pushing for a ceasefire agreement.

Israeli officials believe that the U.S. may soon announce talks with Iran. Netanyahu reportedly wants to hit as many Iranian military and industrial facilities as possible before any potential ceasefire.

According to sources, Israel seeks to neutralize the threat of Iran's ballistic missiles, prevent the development of nuclear weapons, and create conditions for internal political changes in Iran.

Boaz Bismuth, a member of Netanyahu's party, stated that ending the war would not be possible if these goals are not achieved.
