NYT: Iranian Agents Open to Talks with CIA

Secret agents from Iran's Ministry of Intelligence have reportedly expressed openness to engaging in talks with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to end the war, according to The New York Times.
The offer was made through an unnamed intelligence agency, according to officials from the Middle East and a Western nation, who spoke on condition of anonymity. A source from the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence dismissed the report as "absolute lies and psychological warfare," according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
The White House and the CIA have not commented. Officials in Washington are reportedly skeptical about whether Iran or the Trump administration are truly ready for a "way out of the crisis." Iran's ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva has ruled out negotiations with Washington.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Tehran wants talks, but it is too late, as the U.S. continues its military operations against Iran.
