US President Donald Trump has threatened military action against the government of Colombia, claiming the country is governed by a sick individual who produces cocaine for the United States.

Trump threatened the President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, saying he would not be able to continue these activities for much longer. When asked if the United States would conduct an operation against Colombia, Trump replied that the idea “sounds good.”

Colombia's social-democratic president, Gustavo Petro, a critic of Donald Trump, spoke of the kidnapping of Nicolás Maduro, arguing that the action of American forces has no legal basis.

Meanwhile, Havana announced that 32 Cubans were killed during a US military operation in Venezuela, particularly in the capital, Caracas. The Cuban government has declared two days of national mourning.
