Ukraine: Six Killed in Russian Drone Attacks

At least six people have been killed in Ukraine following Russian drone attacks in the south and central parts of the country. The strikes come amid preparations for new diplomatic negotiations between Moscow, Kyiv, and Washington.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, three people were killed in Vilniansk when apartment buildings caught fire after a drone attack, according to Governor Ivan Fedorov. Two others were killed in the Kherson region and one in the city of Kryvyi Rih, the birthplace of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched a total of 105 unmanned aerial vehicles, of which 84 were intercepted.
Delegations from Ukraine, Russia, and the US met in Abu Dhabi last week to discuss a plan to end the war. The Kremlin confirmed that the dialogue is continuing, while Sergey Lavrov reiterated that Moscow would not accept a temporary ceasefire.
