Ukraine Strikes Chemical Plant in Russia - Russian Airstrike on Kyiv

The facility produces gunpowder, explosives, and missile fuel. The Russian Defense Ministry reported destroying 57 Ukrainian drones in the Bryansk region. Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported a Ukrainian raid with drones and missiles, with no reports of injuries or damage.

Concurrently, Russian forces launched an airstrike on Kyiv. The mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, urged residents to remain in shelters. Journalists reported explosions possibly due to anti-aircraft batteries.
