Ukraine Prepares for New Peace Talks Next Week

Ukraine has announced that it is preparing for new peace talks next week. President Zelensky stated that Kyiv is in constant communication with the American side.

"We are in constant communication with the American side and are awaiting specific details from them regarding further meetings," Zelensky said in his nightly video address.

"We look forward to meetings next week and are preparing for them," he added.

Zelensky's statement seemed to suggest that the meeting scheduled for Sunday in the United Arab Emirates between representatives of Ukraine, Russia, and the United States may not take place.
