Ukraine: Is NATO Choosing War Over Peace?

Peace talks regarding Ukraine appear to have stalled, with NATO seemingly pursuing a military victory against Russia. While Vladimir Putin meets with Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un in China, NATO, with US support, is intensifying efforts to inflict a defeat on the Russian military.
The US has decided to send 3,350 ERAM missiles to Ukraine, while a new Ukrainian cruise missile, the Flamingo (FP-5), is under development, boasting a range of 3,000 km and a one-ton warhead.
Russian sources report increased reconnaissance flight activity by the US and NATO near Russian borders, suggesting preparations for a potential attack on Crimea. Specifically, flights of RQ-4B, P-8A, Artemis CL-650, and E-3F AWACS aircraft are mentioned.
The Russians interpret these movements as an attempt to change the balance of power in the war, forcing Russia into concessions. The most significant uncertainty remains the possibility of a change of direction from Washington.
The British, French, and Germans are keen to support a victory in Crimea, potentially deploying NATO troops to Ukraine.
