Pedro Sánchez: No to War, Full Support to Lebanon

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez expressed his support for Lebanon after a telephone conversation with President Joseph Aoun.

Sánchez criticized the escalation of the Israeli intervention in Lebanon, which has caused the displacement of thousands of people. In a post on Twitter, he assured Spain's full support and the provision of humanitarian aid.

"I just spoke with the President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, about the serious situation in Beirut and the rest of the country. The Lebanese people can count on our full support and humanitarian assistance to the thousands of displaced. Enough with the escalations. No more destruction. No to war," he wrote.
