Beijing Denies Trump's Nuclear Test Allegations

China has denied allegations made by former US President Donald Trump regarding the conduct of nuclear tests. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated that China follows a defensive nuclear strategy and respects its commitment to the moratorium on nuclear testing.

Donald Trump had stated that Russia and China are conducting tests, without specifying their nature. Mao Ning called on the USA to take measures to safeguard the international disarmament system.

US Energy Secretary Chris Wright assured that there would be no nuclear explosions, but other parts of nuclear weapons would be tested.
