Poland: Putin Wanted to Test NATO's Reflexes

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski believes Russia attempted to test NATO's reflexes by violating Polish airspace with drones last week. The drones were empty, suggesting Russia wanted to test NATO's response without starting a war.

Sikorski stated Poland would have responded more harshly if there had been casualties. NATO will deploy more aircraft to its eastern borders. Polish teams will be trained by Ukrainian drone operators to strengthen the country's defense.
