Polish President Accuses Ukrainians of 'Ingratitude'

Polish President Karol Navrocki accused Ukrainians of ingratitude regarding the aid they received after Russia's invasion, during a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Warsaw.
Navrocki stated that Poles feel their aid to Ukraine is not duly appreciated. Poland has hosted over one million refugees and is a major arms supplier.
Zelenskyy responded that Ukraine is and will remain grateful to Poland, stressing that his country is defending Europe. He also warned of Russia's efforts to divide the two countries.
Navrocki also requested better cooperation on the issue of the Volhynia massacre of Poles during World War II. After the meeting, he described the discussion as a 'new beginning' in Poland-Ukraine relations.
