Palestinian Embassy Condemns Israeli Incursion in Jenin

The Palestinian Embassy in Cyprus has issued a statement condemning the "provocative incursion" of the Israeli Minister of Finance and the head of the Council of Settlements of the West Bank, along with settlers, into the Tersela area, south of Jenin.
According to the statement, this action aimed to resettle settlers in lands that had been evacuated 20 years ago and reinforces the exploitation of Palestinian lands for the expansion of Israeli settlements.
The Embassy expressed concern about the escalation of incursions by Israeli officials into the occupied West Bank and denounced the silence of the international community, calling on it to assume its responsibilities and pressure the Israeli government to stop actions against the Palestinian people.
The statement also refers to the meeting of the Israeli Prime Minister with the Speaker of the US House of Representatives in an Israeli settlement, characterizing the move as a sign of Israeli arrogance and an attempt to annex the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
