According to Reuters, Russia is facing gasoline shortages following Ukrainian attacks on refineries. Drone attacks have disabled 3.1 million tons of refining capacity.

Ukrainian attacks have hit approximately 17% of Russia's refining capacity, or 1.2 million barrels per day. Russia has been forced to increase crude oil exports while facing gasoline shortages in some regions.

Moscow has tightened the ban on gasoline exports to ensure supply. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the situation is under control and the government is taking measures to stabilize prices.

Industry sources report that increased processing at operating refineries will help mitigate the impact.
