Reuters: Haftar Acquires Combat Drones in Libya Despite UN Embargo

Eastern Libyan military leader Khalifa Haftar has reportedly acquired combat drones, despite the UN embargo, according to Reuters.
Satellite images show at least three drones at the Al Khadim airbase, east of Benghazi. Anas El Gomati of the Sadeq Institute stated that the arrival of the drones would strengthen Haftar's position.
One expert indicated that one drone is a Chinese-made Feilong-1 (FL-1), while others are Turkish Bayraktar TB2. It remains unknown who supplied the drones.
Drones played a role in the Libyan civil war (2014-2020). Countries such as the UAE, Egypt, and Russia supported Haftar, while Turkey supported the government in Tripoli.
Libya remains divided between Haftar in the east and the government of Abdulhamid Dbeibeh in Tripoli.
