RodrĂguez: Venezuela-US Relations 'Tarnished'

Venezuela's interim president, Delcy RodrĂguez, stated that relations with the US have been 'tarnished' following the US military operation against Nicolás Maduro. RodrĂguez, the former vice president, mentioned a 'stain' on the relations between the two countries.
Despite the tensions, RodrĂguez noted that trade with the US continues, with state oil company PdVSA negotiating crude oil sales. US President Donald Trump assured that Venezuela would deliver 30-50 million barrels of oil to the US.
The Trump administration stated that the agreement is 'historic' and will not be limited to the sale of this quantity. Trump said the revenue would be used to purchase American products, especially agricultural and pharmaceutical goods.
RodrĂguez emphasized the desire for cooperation with all countries, while Washington is considering lifting sanctions on Venezuelan oil to facilitate access to the traditional oil market.
