Russia Claims Capture of Staritsa Border Community in Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces have captured the community of Staritsa, in the Kharkiv region, near the border with Ukraine.
Kyiv has not confirmed the loss of the area, while Russian operations are intensifying near the border.
According to the Russian ministry, the capture occurred despite strong resistance from Ukrainian forces. The General Staff of National Defense of Ukraine reported six waves of attacks in the area, without acknowledging the loss of Staritsa.
The DeepState website reported that Russian forces are tightening their grip on the Vovchansk area.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced an attack against drone facilities and energy infrastructure in Ukraine. Russian forces continue their westward advance, controlling part of Donetsk and putting pressure on the regions of Kharkiv and Zaporizhia.
