Russia Accuses Kyiv of Sabotaging Peace Talks

Russia, through Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, accuses Ukraine of seeking to torpedo talks on the American plan to end the war.

Ryabkov said that the new text presented by Kyiv is radically different from what Moscow had negotiated with Washington. He also strongly criticized the involvement of Zelensky's European allies, arguing that Kyiv and its backers do not want an agreement and have intensified efforts to prevent it.

Ryabkov warned that there will be no final agreement if the limits set at the Trump-Putin Summit in Alaska in August are not respected.
