Russian Attacks on Ukrainian Railway Infrastructure: At Least 5 Injured

At least five people have been injured in Russian attacks targeting railway infrastructure in southern Ukraine. The national railway company of Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia, announced that Russia has intensified drone attacks on railway infrastructure.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba, a railway worker was injured in a drone attack in the Mykolaiv region. Additionally, a worker and two children were injured by a Russian missile at an administrative building of a railway station in the Odesa region. Initially, three injuries were reported, but it was later clarified that there were four injured.
Furthermore, an attempted attack with a Russian drone targeted a train traveling between Dnipro and Kovel. The train was stopped, and the drone struck a few meters away from the locomotive.
Ukrzaliznytsia reports that since the beginning of March, there have been 18 attacks, causing damage to 41 facilities. Targets include train engines, freight trains, infrastructure repair equipment, railway depots, and bridges.
On Monday, a drone attack on a suburban train in the Dnipropetrovsk region resulted in the death of one person and injuries to seven others.
