Russian Attacks on Ukraine: Hundreds of Drones and Missiles

The Ukrainian military announced that it struck refineries in Krasnodar and Syzran, Russia, overnight. According to the military, explosions and a fire were recorded at the oil refinery in Krasnodar, which produces three million tons of light petroleum products annually. A fire also broke out in the area of the refinery in Syzran.

The Ukrainian Air Force announced that it shot down 510 out of 537 drones and 38 out of 45 missiles launched by Russia. Five missile strikes and 24 drone strikes were recorded in seven locations.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Moscow exploited the preparation time for a meeting between the leaders of the two countries to launch new attacks. He called for tough measures against those who finance the Russian army and effective sanctions against Moscow itself.
