Sergiy Nizinskiy: Ukraine will never recognize the pseudo-state

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Nicosia, Sergiy Nizinskiy, stated that Ukraine will never recognize the pseudo-state and condemned the Turkish occupation. The statement was made during the meeting of the Ukraine-Cyprus Friendship Group in the Ukrainian Parliament with members of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs.
The head of the delegation of the Ukraine-Cyprus Friendship Group, Oleksandr Tkachenko, briefed on developments in Ukraine and stressed the country's desire for peace, noting the harsh conditions imposed by Russia. He expressed hope for finding common ground through consultations and referred to discussions regarding the number of Ukrainian military forces and the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donetsk, to be discussed at the Zelensky-Trump meeting.
Mr. Tkachenko mentioned that Cyprus has expressed its support for Ukraine and called on the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs to help recognize the artificial famine of 1932-33 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people. He noted that over 30 countries have already recognized the famine as genocide.
