Nearly 125,000 Russian Soldiers Killed in Ukraine

Nearly 125,000 Russian soldiers have been killed to date during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, according to data identified by the BBC and a Russian website in collaboration with volunteers.

27% of the Russian soldiers killed were volunteers, while more than 5,500 were officers. Of the deceased, 11,250 were killed after February 11, 2025, when talks began to end hostilities.
