US Delegation Meets with Cuban Officials, Havana Confirms

US officials met with their Cuban counterparts in Havana, a Cuban Foreign Ministry official confirmed to state media Granma.

Alejandro Garcia del Toro stated that neither side made threatening statements or set ultimatums. Cuba's priority was ending the island's energy blockade.

Axios reported that the US delegation visited Cuba the previous week.
