Kompos Meets UAE Foreign Minister to Discuss Regional Developments and Bilateral Relations

Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kompos met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, in Dubai to discuss regional developments and bilateral cooperation.

According to a statement, they discussed the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation in economic, commercial, and investment sectors.

The Sheikh expressed his appreciation for Mr. Kompos' visit and reiterated the UAE's solidarity with the Republic of Cyprus.

Mr. Kompos emphasized Cyprus' unwavering solidarity against attacks on the UAE, noting that "diplomacy and dialogue are the only viable path to de-escalation and stability."
