N. Androulakis requested information on the country's preparedness regarding security issues and the potential impact of the crisis. He also emphasized that Greece's military presence in the Eastern Mediterranean should be linked to the protection of Hellenism, especially in Cyprus.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that the priority is the protection and safe repatriation of stranded Greeks, as well as the safety of sailors. He confirmed the dispatch of additional military aid to Cyprus, stressing that any threat to an EU country is unacceptable.
