Theodorikakos-Kasir Meeting: Greece-Turkey Cooperation in Research and Technology

Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos and Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kasir signed an agreement to strengthen Greece-Turkey cooperation in the fields of research and technology, during the 6th High-Level Cooperation Council between Greece and Turkey.

The program aims to jointly fund innovative ideas in areas such as biosciences, pharmaceuticals, the agri-food chain, the circular industry, and sustainable energy.

110 joint proposals have already been submitted and will be evaluated by the competent Joint Interstate Committee for funding.

During the meeting, Mr. Theodorikakos emphasized the importance of cooperation in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises and the need to exploit opportunities in new areas of business cooperation.
