Tatar Advocates Two-State Solution and Lifting of 'Embargo' to British MPs

Ersin Tatar expressed his support for a two-state solution and the lifting of the 'isolation' in a meeting with the UK – pseudo-state 'friendship parliamentary group' in London.
According to a statement from the 'presidency', Mr. Tatar stated that he was 'elected' to his position with the support of the 'people' in the vision of the two states. He also recalled the efforts of the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General, Maria Angela Holguin, and the talks in Geneva.
Mr. Tatar referred to the geopolitical importance of Cyprus, emphasizing that it is close to the southern coast of Turkey and that the United Kingdom has two sovereign bases on the island.
Furthermore, he asked Britain to revise its 'unequal policy' and advocated for ending the 'isolation of the Turkish Cypriot people', referring to sports clubs and youth organizations.
The meeting was held as part of the 'Freedom and Justice for Northern Cyprus' campaign. Participants included Imran Hussein, Yasemin Qureshi, and Lord Rogan, among others.
