Trump Doesn't Rule Out Sending Ground Troops to Iran

Donald Trump has stated that he does not rule out sending American ground troops to Iran if deemed necessary. In an interview with the New York Post, the American president mentioned that Operation Epic Fury is "well ahead of schedule," with dozens of high-ranking Tehran officials eliminated.
Trump stated that he is not concerned about potential terrorist actions by Iran in retaliation. Furthermore, he revealed that the decision to attack Iran was made after intelligence indicated the resumption of nuclear programs.
"I have no problem sending ground forces—as all presidents say, 'No forces will be sent (boots on the ground).' I don't say that," Trump stated. "I say 'I probably don't need them' or 'if they were necessary'."
Although he had stated just on Sunday that the war could last "about four weeks," on Monday in the Post he suggested that the timeframe could be shorter.
