Trump: No Meeting with Putin Without Ukraine Deal

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he will not schedule a new meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin unless there is a prospect of an agreement to end the war in Ukraine.

"I would have to know that we're going to come to an agreement," Trump told reporters during his tour of Asia.

Referring to efforts to resolve the conflict between Moscow and Kyiv, Trump added: "I'm not going to waste my time. I've always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin, but that was very disappointing."
