Donald Trump stated that the attack on Iran prevented a nuclear war and potentially a third world war. In statements from the Oval Office, Trump reiterated that Iran was on the verge of destabilizing the region and the world.

"If you think Iran should have a nuclear weapon, then something is wrong with you," he said, arguing that Iran would use such a weapon immediately, causing widespread destruction in the Middle East.

Trump also mentioned that Iran had positioned missiles against its neighbors and that American intervention was necessary to prevent a wider conflict. Furthermore, he hinted at the US allies regarding their support in the Strait of Hormuz, stating that he would soon reveal which countries have offered support.

He also referred to the B-2 bomber, saying it is the only plane capable of carrying a 200,000-pound bomb, a statement that was described as an exaggeration.

Asked about when the war would end, Trump replied that it would happen soon and that it would lead to a safer world. He described the situation with Iran as a "big chess game at a very high level."
