Trump: Ukraine Impeding Peace with Russia – 'Putin is Ready'

Former US President Donald Trump has accused Ukraine of impeding a peace agreement with Russia, claiming that Vladimir Putin is ready for a deal.
In an interview with Reuters, Trump stated that Putin is willing to end the invasion of Ukraine, unlike Volodymyr Zelensky, whom he considers less willing to compromise. 'I think Putin is ready to make a deal. Ukraine seems less willing to move forward,' he said.
When asked why negotiations have not led to a solution, Trump replied: 'Zelensky.'
According to Trump, talks are focused on security guarantees for Ukraine after the war, with pressure on Kyiv to accept territorial concessions in Donbas. Trump also mentioned that he does not know if Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will travel to Moscow.
Regarding a possible meeting with Zelensky at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump stated that he would be willing to meet him.
