Trump: Zelensky Must Be Flexible – Difficult Deal Possible with Putin

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky must show flexibility in negotiations, while not ruling out the possibility of a difficult deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump mentioned that he had a phone call with Putin and expressed hope for a trilateral meeting. "I hope his behavior will be good," he said, adding that "if not, then we will have a difficult situation... he may not want to reach an agreement."
Referring to Zelensky, Trump emphasized that it is necessary to show flexibility and that Ukraine should never put the possibility of joining NATO on the table.
Trump clarified that the U.S. will not send troops to Ukraine. "You have my assurance," he said.
