Trump Extends Ceasefire with Iran

US President Donald Trump announced the extension of the ceasefire with Iran, pending a unified proposal from Tehran and the completion of talks.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that Washington would postpone a military attack against Iran, responding to a request from the Pakistani leadership, in order to give Tehran time to reach a coherent proposal for negotiations.
The decision was made due to the Iranian government appearing 'seriously fragmented.' Following a request from Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the US will delay any military action.
Trump emphasized that he has ordered the US armed forces to continue the naval blockade and remain in full operational readiness.
