Trump Proposes New Russia-Ukraine Talks with US Involvement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the US has proposed a new format for peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, involving American and potentially European envoys. Kyiv will decide on the format once it becomes clear whether bilateral talks with American negotiators are positive.

Zelenskyy did not provide details on the exact format proposed by Donald Trump. American negotiators are expected to meet with Russian officials in Florida.

On the war front, Russia continued strikes on Odesa, causing a fire at the largest vegetable oil terminal. The death toll from a previous strike rose to 8. Moscow has intensified attacks on Odesa, targeting port and energy infrastructure.

Zelenskyy denounced Russia's attempts to restrict Ukraine's access to the sea and blockade coastal areas.
