Donald Trump stated that Iran is desperate for a deal, arguing that it should have happened sooner. In an interview with The Telegraph, he mentioned that military operations were initially planned to last four weeks.

Trump also expressed displeasure with Keir Starmer, accusing him of initially blocking the use of the Diego Garcia base for American strikes against Iran. He stated that Starmer was 'too late' to change his stance.

The American president reiterated that the operation is progressing 'far ahead of schedule' and suggested that London should have approved the use of the base from the outset.
